Member of Wishbone Ash from the beginning (August 1969) to September 1980.
Back in the line-up between Spring 1988 - September 1991.
Occasional visits in the line-up even after that.
Remastered several Wishbone Ash CD releases starting from the late 80's onwards
(Distillation 4CD box set, No Smoke Without Fire, Just Testing, Nouveau Calls, Argus and Lost Pearls).

Formed his own band entitled Martin Turner's Wishbone Ash in 2005.

1985 Produced a Jimmy Martin album "You Get What You Play For" (Ray Weston on drums).
  Remixed a track for Keanan's maxi-single "Watersport".
1986 Produced and sang backing vocals on Mad Dog's self entitled album (Executive producer: John Sherry).
1994 Ray Hollingworth album "In the Flesh" released in Germany by Bellaphon records.
Martin producing, engineering and also playing Bass, Keyboards, Drum programming and Guitar. Additionally singing backing vocals.
Robin Berlin (who later played on Martin's solo CD "Walking the Reeperbahn") on guitar.
1996 Solo album Walking the Reeperbahn. First released by Dirty Dog Disks DDD CD001.
1997 Worked with the material for Wishbone Ash 4 CD box set "Distillation". Putting a band together.
1998 Built a new studio and worked with a local blues band called Blue Bishops.
Hopes to tour with a band tentatively called Wishbone-ish.
1999 Walking the Reeperbahn rereleased by Blueprint BP 298 CD.
Includes sleeve notes with photos.
2000 Touring with Blue Bishops (only bass duties, no vocals).
2003 Blue Bishops released a CD titled Deep.
2005 Martin founded a band entitled Martin Turner's Wishbone Ash (MTWA).
The band rehearsed during the summer of 2005.
Other members were published in September 2005:

  Rob Hewins (drums/percussion/harmony vocals).
2006 MTWA released a live album entitled New Live Dates Volume 1.

2008 MTWA member Keith Buck replaced by Danny Willson.
 
MTWA released a re-recorded version of Argus entitled Argus Through the Looking Glass. Both the former MTWA member Keith Buck and new member Danny Willson played on the CD.

By the end of the year, MTWA drummer Rob Hewins left and was replaced by Dave Wagstaffe.
 
2010 MTWA released a Life Begins Live DVD.

2012 A Garden Party was held for invited guests. Musicians: MTWA + Ted Turner & Laurie Wisefield. Steve Upton was up on stage too, but didn't play.
2013 Martin sang lead vocals on one track on a Steve Miller tribute CD. The track was "Swingtown" and the CD is called "Fly Like an Eagle - An All Star Tribute To Steve Miller".
 
By the end of the year, MTWA drummer Dave Wagstaffe left and was replaced by Tim Brown.
2014 Martin Turner's Wishbone Ash renamed to Martin Turner plays the music of Wishbone Ash.
 
The Garden Party held in 2012 was released as a double CD in late 2014.
2015 While Martin Turner & band was recording a new studio album, Ray Hatfield resigned from the band. The replacement was Misha Nikolic.
 
Martin Turner, founding original member of Wishbone Ash released a CD called "Written in the Stars".
2016 New Live Dates Volume 1 and New Live Dates Volume 2, originally released by Martin Turner's Wishbone Ash in 2006 and 2007 now re-released as a double CD entitled New Live Dates, The Complete Set. Now the "band name" is changed to Martin Turner, Ex-Wishbone Ash.
